Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed about the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can more info be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
